"When you choose an insurance agency, you're putting a lot of trust in that group of people. You're counting on them to help you protect yourself. Dax Mattox and his agency do not deserve that trust. I was exposed to substantial risk due to a policy sold to me by this agency that failed to provide adequate coverage for my situation, a situation that they were aware of from the very beginning. Had they simply told me that they couldn't provide me with the coverage I needed, I would have kept my previous insurance policy and that would have been fine. Instead, I had to expend a significant amount of time and money to rectify a huge mess, and I was fortunate that it wasn't much worse. When I confronted the agency about what happened, I ultimately wound up on a call with Dax Mattox himself where he first dismissed my concerns, then offered empty excuses, and finally tried to gaslight and blame me. He is a real piece of work, and in hindsight it is clear exactly where this agency's business practices come from. If you like being dealt with honestly and with respect, I would strongly recommend that you take your business elsewhere."

"I was moving my policy over from another state - I simply wanted to do business with this office. They failed to respond to two email inquiries. I complained about this and stated I preferred prompt and professional email communication and after a few communications and trying to move my policy to another office in town, dax, sent me an email inferring that I was "bullying" his office - this is a total misrepresentation and a lie and a written insult (which I have informed State Farm about). This office cares nothing about its clients and it is doubtful they would be professional and courteous if you had an accident - dax has no set of values and defends those that treat his clients unprofessionally - I would strongly suggest going somewhere else."
